Einfache Montage
Nahezu alle KMC Ketten werden mit einem Kettenschloss geliefert. Die Montage ist ganz einfach und eine sichere Verbindung gewährleistet. Um die Kette auf die richtige Länge zu kürzen benötigt man lediglich einen handelsüblichen Kettennietdrücker. Für das Verschließen und Öffnen benötigt man eine Kettenzange.

Haltbarkeit
In vielen Praxistests konnte belegt werden, dass KMC Ketten länger halten als Ketten anderer bekannter Marken. Der Verschleiß einer Kette hängt von vielen Faktoren, wie z. B. Einsatzbereich, Wartung und Pflege oder individuelles Schaltverhalten ab. Deshalb ist es schwierig, allgemeingültige Angaben zu machen.
